St. Mary's Syrian Orthodox Church (Jacobite) in Houston is under the Holy Apostolic Throne of Antioch and All the East and the Malankara Archdiocese of the Syrian Orthodox Church in North America. The Vicar is Rev. Fr. Jacob Joseph. Our church members actively participate in all the Spiritual activities including: Sunday Worship Service, Sunday School, St. Mary's Women's League, Youth Association, MGSOSA, Association for the Protection of True Antiochean Faith, St. Paul's Prayer Fellowship, etc.. The enthusiasm of our members allows St. Mary's to collect funds to distribute to needy families during the Christmas season. Presently our church members contribute their time, energy, and efforts in making St. Mary's a warm and lovable place to worship.
